विवेचन-जिस प्रकार संख्यात योजन विस्तार वाले नरकावासों में नैरयिक जीवों की उत्पत्ति, ॐ उद्वर्त्तना और सत्ता (विद्यमानता), इन तीनों आलापकों की प्ररूपणा की गई है, उसी प्रकार असंख्यात
योजन विस्तार वाले नरकावासों में नैरयिक जीवों की उत्पत्ति आदि तीनों आलापकों का कथन करना चाहिए। संख्यात के बदले यहाँ 'असंख्यात' शब्द का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।
अवधिज्ञानी और अवधिदर्शनी तीर्थंकर आदि ही उद्वर्तन करते हैं और वे स्वल्प होते हैं, जिस कारण इन दोनों के उद्वर्तन के विषय में संख्यात' ही कहा गया है।
Elaboration—The details about birth, death and life-span of infernal beings in infernal abodes with unlimited expanse (asankhyat Yojan) follow the same pattern as earlier mentioned about those with limited expanse (sankhyat Yojan) with the simple change of unlimited for limited.
