मैं चवल टक के रूप में खूब प्रयुक्त हुआ है। वह भी मित्र ताल वृत्त है। यह अवण रहित ४ गर्मी वाला छंद है। यह छंद मानिक न होकर वर्णित है। इसमें आलोचकों ने ४ ही चरन बदाम है अन्त में दो लघु और एक गुरू एक पक्ति में कुल २ वर्ष होते है परन्तु भरतेश्वर बाहु बली रास में धवल के साथ मिश्र करने से इसमें चरण हो गए है जिसमें एक चरम में कुंडलिया की भांति उसी वितीय चरण की पुनरावृत्ति होती है यथा
वर वर सवर वीर, आवास धीर,
मंडलीय मिलिया जान इव हीं मंगल गान
मी मंगल गान गाजियम गिरि गुट गुम गुम
धम धमीय चामल सतीय न सक्छ सेकुलगिरि कमकमद्द

इसमें अन्तिम चारबरन ध्वल या सरस्वती दिया है। धवल या सरस्वती वल पर आगे विचार किया गया है।
