In whut village or in what town and having given what or having enjoyed what or having done what or on accont of what bad acts of former birth (here the rest to be supplied down to) experiences etc.? Having accosted Goyama,' 'the Reverned Samana Mahāvīra spoke to Goyama thus : “ Oh, Goyama ! truly, at that' time and at that period, in this country of Bhāraha in the continent of Jambuddiva, there was a city called Sayadu vāra which was prosperous and free from any kind of fear (here its description to be given).
