(169) The 'thirteen organs' consist of the eleven
sense-organs, the I-principle and the Will.

The five motor sense-organs * extend' over Speaking, Handling, Walking, Excretion and Gratification; and each of these being both 'celestial' and * non-celestial', these objects become tenfold. Similarly the object 'to be sustained by the three internal organs through their functions in the shape of the Vital Airs' etc., is the body, which is fivefold, being an aggregate of the five elementary substances; of these the Earth being an aggregate of sound, touch, colour, taste and odour.
