There followed Vijayaprabbasari, Jayachand, asuri, Devachandrasari and Dharmasamudrasuri. Bis merit in restoring the old use by which the pakshikapratikran a was celebrated on the 15th day of each month is recorded. On account of evil timos the ceremony had come to be wrongly celebrated on the 141h day of the month. He owed his name Dharma amudrasuri to this achievement. The next nanes mentioned are those of Kusalaprabbasuri, Ratnaprabhagurn, Charitraprabhaguru, and Udayaprabbayaru. Next comes Devachandraprabhasuri, of whom we are told that he flourished at the time when Kalikacharya, at the instance of king Salivahana, changed the paryushana from the fifth to the fourth day of the month. Devachandraprabhasuri declined to acquiesce in this innovation. He dwelt in the city Ja;adrathottara. Next are mentioned Kumaradharma, Jinadevaguro, Yasodeva, Vijayachandrasuri (who converted the king of Sura), Vimalaprabhasari, Punyaprabhasuri, Jayayhoska, Vijayagh sba, Vijayadharmaguru, Kumudachandrasuri. The victory over the Digambaras gained by Kumudachandra is referred to, and the fact that the king gave him in consequence the honorific title of Jnanachandra is reco: ded.
