________________ THE SACRED BOOKS OF THE JAINAS. मुक्त्वातरौद्रं ध्यानं यो ध्यायति धर्मशुक्लं वा। स प्रतिक्रमणमुच्यते जिनवरनिर्दिष्टसूत्रेषु ॥८६॥ 89. He, who avoids (both) the thoughts of pain and ill-will, and entertains righteous and pure thoughts, is said to have repentance in the aphorisms delivered by the Conquerors (Jinas). मिच्छत्तपदिभावा पुव्वं जीवेण भाविया सुइरं । सम्मत्तपहुदिभावा अभाविया होंति जीवेण ॥६॥ मिथ्यात्वप्रभृतिभावाः पूर्व जीवेन भाविताः सुचिरम् । सम्यक्त्वप्रभृतिभावाः प्रभाविता भवन्ति जीवेन ॥ १० ॥ 90. (Impure) thought-activities, (such as) wrong belief, etc., have been experienced before since eternity, by a mundane soul, (but) pure thought-activities such as right belief, etc., have never been experienced by this soul. मिच्छादसणणाणचरित्तं चइऊण हिरवसेसेण । सम्मत्तणाणचरणं जो भावइ सो पडिकमणं ॥१॥ मिथ्यादर्शनज्ञानचरित्रं त्यक्त्वा निरवशेषेण । सम्यक्त्वज्ञानचरणं यो भावयति स प्रतिक्रमणम् ॥ ११ ॥ 91. He, who having completely renounced Wrong Belief, (Wrong) Knowledge and (Wrong) Conduct, medidates upon Right Belief, (Right) Knowledge and (Right) Conduct (is said to have) repentance. उत्तमअटें आदा तम्हि ठिदा हणदि मुणिवरा कम्मं । तम्हा दु झाणमेव हि उत्तमअस्स पडिकमणं ॥६२॥ उत्तमार्थ आत्मा तस्मिन् स्थिता नन्ति मुनिवराः कर्म । तस्माद् ध्यानमेव हि उत्तमार्थस्य प्रतिक्रमणम् ॥३२॥ 92.
