Then the Sovereign asked:-"Divine Sir, is there at present any sovereign king or an omniscient monk in the Land of Bharata which has got the Vaitadhya mountain in it ?" (168). The Jina replied-"There is neither an omniscient sage nor a sovereign ruler at present in the Bharata Land; but there is Kummaputta who is omniscient although a householder. (169). Then the sovereign king again asked--"well, Divine Sir, does an omniscient sage live in his house ?" The Divine Lord replied:-"he sticks to his house with a view to enlighten his mother and father".
