The foregoing edition of the quo is tho Na. gari transcription of the toxt published by Dr. Walther Schubring of Berlin, as No. 2 of the Indica edited by Prof. Ernest Leumann of Strassburg. An English version prepared by Miss May S. Burgess, of Dr. Schubring's German translation, his introduction, and notes, appeared in the Indian Antiquary, Vol. 39 p. 257-268. The explicativo remarks giron there reed not be ropeated bero.
The edition is based upon the following manuEcripts:
C. This letter joins the conform readings of the Churni, represented by P = Ms. . 1880-81 No. 13 of the Deccan College Library, Samvat 1218, and of the Berlin ms. or fol. 778 c, a transparent copy of another palm-leaf manuscript of Samvat 1334. In the Churni, the sutras are rarely written in exterio, but the discussion of the single words allows to oun. clude upon its readings.
T= M2. XII, 390 of the Deccan College Library, the Tika of Udd. I and 2. A few sutras of the other Uddosakas are cited. No date ( perhaps from tho beginning of the 17th century ).
