(૦૮) પરસ લગ્ન વ્યવહાર અને સંસારી વ્યવહાર બંધ પડયા છે.'
હાલની વર્ણવ્યવસ્થાથી આપણામાં બાળલગ્ન, કજોડાં, કન્યાવિકય, વરવિક્રય, સાટાં ખડાં આદિ ઘણું હાનિકારક રિવાજો દાખલ થયા છે, એમ બતાવવામાં આવ્યું છે, તેમાંની કોઈ પણ હાનિ પ્રાચીન્ આમાં નહતી એમાં કંઈ શક નથી. પ્રાચીન આર્યોમાં બાળલગ્ન નહેતાં, પણ સ્વયંવર હતા. પ્રાચીન આયમાં મોટે ભાગે કજોડાં નહોતાં થતાં પણ સજેડાં થતાં ને લોકો સુખી થતા. પ્રાચીનું આમાં કન્યાવિક્રય, વરવિક્રય તથા સાટાં ખડાંને પ્રચાર નહોતે, પણ લગ્નને આધાર વરકન્યાના ગુણ ઉપર હતો. એટલે ટુંકામાં પ્રાચીન આર્યોમાં હાલના સમયમાં જે જે દુષ્ટ, અને હાનિકારક રિવાજેથી આપણું સંસાર મંડળની અવદશા થઈ છે, તે તે રિવાજો પ્રચારમાં નહોતા, ને તેથી તે સમયના આર્યોની સંસારિક સ્થિતિ આપણા કરતાં હજાર દરજે સારી હતી, એટલું જ નહિ પણ રાજકીય સ્થિતિ તથા ધાર્મિક સ્થિતિ પણ સારી હતી, ઋષિ મુનીઓની મહાજ્ઞાનની ને
