(Mind reading capacity is of two types, viz. simple and comprehensive. They differ in terms of purity and possibility of losing the capability.)
Manahparyäyjnän (mind reading capaty) is of two types. One is called Rjumati, which knows the functioning of others' mind to a certain extent. The other is called Vipulamati, which knows it to a far greater extent. They arise by different levels of purity. The former can be lost by virtue of lower purity, but the latter continues on account of higher purity and stays till the attainment of omniscience.
