the Upaadhyaaya is walking there. श्रमणः यथा नमति, સાધુ જેમ નમે છે,
As Saint bows down, शिष्यः तथा नमति શિષ્ય તેમ નમે છે.
the pupil bows like that. पण्डितः यथा कथयति, પંડિત જેમ કહે છે,
As scholar says, श्रावकः तथा कथयति શ્રાવક તેમ કહે છે.
a devotee says like that. मूर्खः न नमति મૂર્મો નમતો નથી.
A fool is not bowing. पुरुषः श्रमणः भवति પુરુષ સાધુ થાય છે.
A man is becoming a monk. सज्जनः यत्र गच्छति, સજ્જન જ્યાં જાય છે,
Where a gentleman goes, तत्र बालः गच्छति ત્યાં બાળક જાય છે.
A child goes there. मूर्खः न पठति મૂર્ખ ભણતો નથી.

A fool is committing sin. सज्जनः पुण्यं करोति સજ્જન પુણ્ય કરે છે.
A gentleman performs good deeds. श्रमणः शास्त्रं पठति
સાધુ શાસ્ત્ર ભણે છે. A monk is studying scriptures. तडागस्य जले कमलम् अस्ति। તળાવના પાણીમાં કમલ છે. Lotus is in the water of the lake. मूर्खः पुस्तकं न पठति મૂર્ખ પુસ્તક ભણતો નથી. Are you watching clouds ? નિની શાસ્ત્ર સત્ય ગતિ જિનનું શાસ્ત્ર સાચું છે. The scriptures of Jainism are true. સઃ પળે પતિ તે કમળનું પાંદડું જાએ છે. He is watching the leaf of a lotus. પુત્રઃ પૃહાત્ તત્ર ઋતિ પુત્ર ઘરેથી ત્યાં જાય છે. The son is going there from the house. પતિઃ શાસ્ત્ર સારા પતિ પંડિત શાસ્ત્ર હંમેશા ભણે છે.
