વિષયાકુળ જીવો આત્મતત્ત્વ જાણવા સમર્થ ન હોવાથી તેમને સમાધિસુખ પ્રાપ્ત ન થાય –
બ્લોક-૩૧
विदन्ति तत्त्वं न यथास्थितं वै, . संकल्पचिन्ताविषयाकुला ये । संसारदुःखैश्च । कदर्थितानां , स्वप्नेऽपि तेषां न समाधिसौख्यम् ।।
સંકલ્પ-ચિંતા-વિષયો મહીં જે, ડૂળ્યા રહે તત્ત્વ ન જાણશે તે; સંસાર કષ્ટ બહુ તે રિબાતા, સ્વપ્નય પામે ન સમાધિ શાતા.
Ignorant of the true, inherent essence Of all substances found in existence, Driven by anxiety and by wrong notions, By sensual cravings and agitations, Unhappy, unhopeful and helpless humans Suffering miseries of mundane existence, Cannot in even their dreams, envision The ultimate bliss of self-absorption.
