ઘણાં શાસ્ત્રો ભણવા કરતાં થોડું પણ ઉત્તમ જ્ઞાન ગ્રહણ કરી, આત્મામાં પરિણમાવી મોક્ષસિદ્ધિ કરવી જોઈએ –

श्लोको वरं परमतत्त्वपथप्रकाशी, न ग्रन्थकोटिपठनं जनरअनाय । સંનવનીતિ વરસૌષધમેનેવે , व्यर्थश्रमप्रजननो न तु मूलभारः ।।
પર્યાપ્ત છે પથપ્રદર્શક એક શ્લોક, ગ્રંથો અસંખ્ય જનરંજન હેતુ ફોક; સંજીવની યદિ મળે સવિ રોગહારી, લાગે તદા વિવિધ ઓસડ ભારકારી.
A singular verse, which on recitation, . Illumines the path of 'self-realization', Is better than billions of so-called 'scriptures, Read for the pleasure of ignorant creatures. The acquistion of the 'Sanjivani', Which restores in beings their life energy, Is better than accumulation of roots, Which yield frustration and fatigue as fruits.
