Works of Vallabha and his Disciples. Of the eighty-four books (including small tracts) that Vallabha is said to have written we know only the following; Antahkaranaprabodha and commentary, Acārya-kārikā, Anandādhikaraņa, Arya, Ekānta-rahasya, Krşņāśraya, Catuḥślokibhāgavata-țīkā, Jalabheda, Jaiminisūtra-bhāsya-mīmāmsā, Tattvadīpa (or more accurately Tattvārthadipa and commentary), Trividhalīlānāmāvali, Navaratna and commentary, Nibandha, Nirodha-laksana and Vivrti, Patrāvalambana, Padya, Parityāga, Parivrddhāsțaka, Puruşottamasahasranāma, Puști-pravāha-maryādābheda and commentary, Pūrvamīmāmsā-kārikā, Premāmịta and commentary, Praudhacaritanāma, Bālacaritanāman, Bālabodha, Brahma-sūtrānubhāsya, Bhaktivardhini and commentary, Bhakti-siddhānta, Bhagavad-gitā-bhāsya, Bhāgavata-tattvadīpa and commentary, Bhāgavata-purāņa-țīkā Subodhini, Bhāgavata-purāņa-daśamaskandhānukramaņikā, Bhāgavata-purāna-pañcamaskandha-țīkā, Bhāgavata-purāņa-ikādaśaskandhārthanirūpana-kārikā, Bhāgavatasāra-samuccaya, Mangalavāda, Mathurā-māhātmya, Madhurāsțaka, Yamunāsțaka, Rājalīlānāma, Vivekadhairyāšraya, Vedastutikārikā, Sraddhāprakarana, Srutisāra, Sannyāsanirnaya and commentary, Sarvottamastotra-tippana and commentary, Sākṣātpuruşottamavākya, Siddhānta-muktāvalī, Siddhānta-rahasya, Sevāphala-stotra and commentary, Svāminyastaka?.
The most important of Vallabha's works are his commentary on the Bhāgavata-purāņa (the Subodhini), his commentary on the Brahma-sūtra, and his commentary Prakāśa on his own Tattvadīpa. The Subodhinī had another commentary on it called the Subodhinilekha and the Subodhini-yojana-nibandha-yojana; the commentary on the Rasapañcādhyāya was commented upon by Pītāmbara in the Rasapañcadhyāyi-prakāša. Vallabha's commentary on the Brahmasūtra, the Anubhāsya, had a commentary on it by Puruşottama (the Bhāsya-prakāśa), another by Giridhara (Vivaraņa), another by Icchārama (the Brahma-sūtrānubhāsya-pradīpa), and another, the Balaprabodhini, by Srīdhara Sarma. There was also another commentary on it, the Anubhāsya-nigūdhārtha-dīpikā by Lalu Bhatta, of the seventeenth century; another by Muralidhara, the pupil of Vitthala (the Anubhāsya-vyākhyā), and the Vedānta-candrikā by an
