A superscript r sign was incised above this akshara; but it seems to exhibit a cancellation mark.
Four aksharas were engraved before the beginning of this line, the second and third of them being partially cut off by the ring-hole. They appear to read Samadeva, although such a passage does not appear to have been omitted from the text of the record.
