________________ (3) pilgrimage and other like purposes and whereas the said Premchand Motichand and Panachand Hirachand died in Bombay on or about the eleventh day of April one thousand nine hundred and three and the fifteenth day of October one thousand nine hundred and three respectively and whereas the said Manekchand Hirachand and Navalchand Hirachand out of the said sum so set apart as aforsaid purchased at a cost of Rupees fifty six thousand in the names of both of them the said Manekchand Hirachand and Navalchand Hirachand & piece or parcel of land or ground hereditaments and premises situate at Kavasji Patel Tank Road within the town of Bombey More particularly described in the schedule hereunder written and subsequently made certain alterations and additions in the said premises at a total cost of Rupees forty three thousand and hence the whole property is about a lac of Rupees worth. And Whereas the said manekchand Hirachand and Navalchand Hirach and are desirous of establishing in the said premises hereinafter unless otherwise designated referred to as the trust estate a Dharamsala for the use and benefit of the persons aforesaid. And also a charitable dispensary and are further desirous of allowing a portion to be used as a Hall for the purpose and with the object hereinafter mentioned. And of setting apart a portion of the said premises to be used as an office for the purpose of transacting such business as may be connected with the diverse charities established or that may be established hereafter by the descendant of the said Hirachand Gumanji and whereas the said Manekchand Hirachand and Navalchand Hirachand are desirous of declaring a trust thereof and of inviting some other fit and proper persons to join with For Personal & Private Use Only Jain Education International www.jainelibrary.org
