Well before the finalization of the matter of the dictionary, I was desirous of getting through the full contents once again, so accordingly | started this work attei Mahavir Jayanti. 3rd Apr. 2004. This time, I read each word of every page and changed the explanations at a number of places by discussing with Pujya Gyanmati Mataji. But as it is impossible to count the stars of the sky, similarly it was not possible also to discuss each & every word with Pujya Mataji so there may remain some corrections at certain places even now. As a matter of fact, when discussion & needed corrections are made repeatedly, only then a fully authentic dictionary can be presented before the society. We are fully hopeful that efficient readers will surely intimate us about the corrections wherever needed.
To say anything for the beneficence of Pujya Ganini Mataji is an act of offering the holy water of Ganga back to Ganga. Therefore, taking it as a precious treasure of Jain-discipline, corrected by her presence & inspiration, we are presenting this holy Dictionary to the society. By getting its benefit, if all of you get it evaluated by your coming generation, we will take it as our useful attempt.
Time to time Kshullak Motisagarji Maharaj has also co-operated by his valuable guidance and suggestions, it is the symbol of his religious interest, Karmayogi Br. Ravindra Kumar Jain, the editor of Veer Gyanodaya Granthmala and the President of Digambar Jain Trilok Shadh Sansthan, Jambudvip-Hastinapur, has made it widely useful by presenting his timely suggestions alongwith bearing the responsibility of the compilation and publication of this dictionary. As this work had been started with the vlew of finishing it shortly, but it took much #me than the estimated target so this has certainly become more expensive. Even so, Ravindra Ji has shown great patience in its completion and that is the mark of his longsightedness. Infact the golden chances of the publication of such standardized compt lations are rare and definitely by its publication Digambar Jain Trilok Shooh Sansthan will get more international fame.
In preparing this dictlonary, the co-operation of Jeevan Prakash Jain and Komalchand Jain, which they have given to Dr. Anupam Jain, is appreciable and for it I greatly bless them and wish that they may acquire spiritual merits by always bestowing their best co-operation in widely spreading Jinvani,
In the same way Sanghastha Br. (Km.) Swati Jain (M.Sc.-Biosciences), accepting the orders of Pujya Mataji, has also taken part diligently in the reading and discussion session of the dictionary and she has contributed her general knowledge of English in the translation of rellgious terms and
