________________ pains & fears and destroys all spiritual wealth. Slay this trouble some mind. Thoughts of attraction and repulsion, likes & dislikes, Rag-dvesha (21°1&) are annihilated in toto. Then the Sage will not be conscious of the existence of the body, though working in it. Do not try to drive away the unimportant and irrelevant thoughts. More you try, more they will return & gain more strength. Become indifferent. Fill the mind with divine thoughts. They will gradually vanish. Get yourself established in Nirvikalpa Samadhi through constant meditaion. Mental pose and calmness may be brought about by the eradication of worry & anger. The goal of life is the attainment of divine consciousness. This goal is the realisation that we are neither the body nor that changing & finite mind, but we are all pure, ever free Atman. Remember always that “Ahonityah Sasvatoyam Purano." You are not this passing personality hooked on to a name and form.
