she overheard the conversation between Subuddhi and Kusumãvali's father that the king was anxious for a match between the Prince and Kusumăvali and had ordered him to bring it about. She added that her father had consented. (65. 10). In the meantime, a maid-servant came, to announce that the park was to be arranged as Prince Simha was expected to come there presently.
