________________ 156 New Dimensions in Jaina Logic Jivaguna pamāna is threefold(i) nanaguna pamāna-standard of attributes of determinate knowledge, (ii) damsanaguna pamāna-standard of attributes of indetermi nate intuition, (iii) cārittaguna pamāna--standard of attributes of conduct (of behaviour). Ņānaguņa pamāna is fourfold (i) paccakkha-perceptual cognition, (ii) anumāna-inferential knowledge, (iii) ovamma-analogical knowledge, (iv) agama-scriptural knowledge. Paccakkha is twofold(i) indiya paccakkha-perceptual cognition through the sense organs, (ii) no-indiya paccakkha--perceptual cognition without the sense-organs. Indiya paccakkha is fivefold (i) soindiya paccakkha-perceptual cognition through the sense organ of ear, (ii) cakkhuindiya paccakkha-perceptual cognition through the sense-organ of eyes, (iii) ghāņendiya paccakkha--perceptual cognition through the sense-organ of nose, (iv) rasa-indiya paccakkha--perceptual cognition through the sense-organ of tongue, (v) phāsendiya paccakkha--perceptual cognition through the sense-organ of touch. No-indiya paccakkha is threefold. (i) ohināna paccakkha-perceptual cognition called clairvo yance. (ii) maņapajjavanāna paccakkha-perceptual cognition called mind reading. (iii) kevalaņāņa paccakkha-perceptual cognition called omni science (or perfect knowledge).
