The works composed by him are as under:
1. Tattvärtharajavārtika with Bhasya.
2.
Astasati-An exposition of the Aptamimamsä written by Samantabhadra.
3. Laghiyastraya-It has three chapters on pramāṇa, naya and pravacana.

4. Nyayaviniścaya-It contains a discussion about the direct, inferential and testimony types of organs of knowledge.
5. Pramanasamgraha-It is a work dealing ith various topics related with the organs of knowledge.
6. Siddhiviniscaya-It is full of discussion about the organs of knowledge, the nayas and other similar topics.
7. Nyayaculikā.
Akalanka is said to be the pioneer in the field of Jaina logic. It is believed that the science of logic was given a definite shape in his time. The writers of the later age like Anantavirya, Manikyanandi, Vidyananda, Hemacandra, Yasovijaya etc. have followed and extended the system of Jaina logic as established by Akalanka. Extensive commentaries have been written on Aṣṭasati by Vidyananda, on Laghiyastraya by Abhayacandra and Prabhacandra, on Nyayaviniścaya by Vadiraja and on Pramanasamgraha and Siddhiviniscaya by Anantavīrya.
4. Anantakirti (between the 9th and the 11th century A.D.)
He was a famous ācārya of Logic. He composed two works entitled Brhatsarvajňasiddhi and Laghusarvajñasiddhi. On account of the absence of a eulogy no details are available about his life. It believed that his Brhatsarvajñasiddhi has influenced Nyayakumudacandra by Prabhācandra.

5. Anantavirya (10th century A.D.)
He was the disciple of Ravibhadra and lived at Śravanabelagola. He was the Chief Commentator of the works of Acarya Akalanka. He wrote the commentary on the Siddhiviniścaya. He was considered as having a penetrating and true knowledge of the works of Akalanka. Acarya Prabhacandra has also expressed his ideas about Anantavirya's scholarship and depth of comprehension.
