9. Candrasena (12th-13th Century A.D.)
He was a disciple of Pradyumnasuri. He composed a work named Utpādasiddhi in 1207 V.S.
10. Devabhadra (11th-12th century A.D.)
He was the disciple of Prasannacandra, the disciple of Abhayadeva, the commentator on the nine Angas. His former name was Gunacandraganī. He composed many works. He wrote the Pramānaprakāśa on logic.
11. Devanandi (Pujyapāda) (5th-6th century A.D.)
The first half of sixth century of the Vikrama Era is accepted to be his period. There is a mention in the Darśanasāra of the latter half of the tenth century of the Vikrama Era (990) that Vajranandi, the disciple of Pujyapāda, founded the Dravida Samgha at Southern Mathura (
Madura). Devanandi was a disciple or a disciple of the disciple of Candranandi of the Deśīyagana of the lineage of Kunda kunda. His main works are as under: 1. Jainendra-Vyakarana. 2. Sarvärthasiddhi--The first available commentary on the
Tattvarthasütra. 3. Samādhitantra. 4. Sabdāvatāra-A Nyāsa (commentary) on Pāṇini grammar. 5. Jainendra-nyāsa--A self-commentary (svopajña nyāsa) on the
Jainendra-Vyäkarana.
12. Devaprabhasūri (12th-13th century A.D.)
He was the disciple of Śrīcandrasūrī, the disciple of the disciple of Maladhārī Hemacandra. He has written the 'Nyāyāvatūratippana'.
13. Devasena (10th century A.D.)
The name of his teacher was Vimalasena Ganadhara.* It is believed that he was an ācārya of Kundakunda's lineage. He composed Darśanasāra + in 990 V.S. in the temple of Pārsvanātha in the city of Dhārā on the 10th of the bright half of Māgha.
