hold that everything which can be said is either perfectly clear or non-sense; or that everything can be made perfectly clear. But, we must try to make as clear as possible without doing violences to the facts. Analysis is necessary atleast as a propaedeutic to philosophy". The doctrine of naya would have greater impact on Modern Logic if it is studied in the right perspective.
In the Sanmati Prakaraṇa, Siddhesena Diwakara says that a wise speaker sometimes places before his audience even one of the two nayas (Dravyarthika and Paryayarthika) having regard to the mental level of the persons listening to him".
As the salt gives taste to all sorts of cooking, so the nayacakra purifies all the sastras".
