Chapter 19 : Sutra 2
Realize Your Simple Self
As these touch the externals and are inadequate;
The people have need of what they can depend upon; Reveal thy Simple Self, Embrace thy original nature, Check thy selfishness, Curtail thy desires.
अध्याय 19 सूत्र 2
स्वयं को जानो
लेकिन ये तीनों ही बास्य है और अपर्याप्त है लोगों को संबल के लिए कुछ और भी चाहिए: (इसके लिए) तुम अपने सरल स्व का उदघाटन करो, अपने मूल स्वभाव का आलिंगन करो, अपनी स्वार्थपरता त्यागो, अपनी वासनाओं को क्षीण करो।
