________________ 14 6. Time substances are innumberable and exist in whole of the universe. Q. 46. What is the size (Extent) of each soul ? From the spatial units (Pradeshas) covering point of view, each individual soul has innumberable units of space equal to universe, but by virtue of the quality of contraction and expansion it retains the shape and size of the body it occupies and the emancipated soul has its size equal to the last body it occupied. 47. Which soul becomes equal to the universe ? Just before attaining emancipation the soul which undergoes Kevali Samudghat' becomes equal to the universe, (Kevali Samudghat' is emanation of the spatial units (Pradeshas) of the omniscient soul from its body without whollydiscarding the body) Q. 48. Define Samudghat'. The emanation of spatial units (Pradeshas) of soul from its body without discarding the body it is occupying is called ‘Samudghat'. Q. 49. Define 'Astikaya'.
