Nom. plural from the pres, part.
( 170. 33) पलिओम-(or generally पलिओवम) छिइया-पल्योपमस्थितिका:- Having the duration of life of one पल्योपमा. It is measured thus : Take a well of hundred yojanas in every dimension; then it should be so densely packed with fine and smooth hair, that if a river were to llow over it, not a drop should get in. Then take out one hair at the interval of every hundred years. The time thus required to empty the well is one पल्योपमा. Many thousand पल्योपम's make one सागरोपमा. These are huge incalculable periods of time, विहूण-विहीन-Without; bereft. उवगारिया-उपकारिका or उपकार्या-Tent, pavilion, लयणलयन-Resort; abode; (cf. लेणी Mar.), सत्तावीसं-सप्तविंशतिTwenty-seven. धणु-धनुस-A measure of four hastas. तेरसत्रयोदश-Thirteen. अंगुल-A finger's breadth. विसेसूण-विशेष+ऊनSlightly less, बाहल्ल-बाहल्य-Thickness.
