THE KEY TO THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE
And if we feel uncomfortable within the limits of our reality and want to break out, then it is worthwhile to ask where to find new, undiscovered dimensions of consciousness, - and let their exploration become the most fascinating adventure of our life.
Because of all these practical reasons, and not for any theoretical or mere philosophic pondering, the next sutra describes reality.
SUTRA 4 जीवाऽजीवास्रवबन्धसंवरनिर्जरामोक्षास्तत्त्वम् ॥ ४ ॥ Jiva(a)jivasrava bandha sanvara nirjara mokshastattvain (4) - The individual impulse of life - 'that what lives in a living be
ing' - (jiva) - the elements that do not possess consciousness (ajiva) - the mechanism that attracts karmic matter to our consciousness
(asrava) - the binding of karmic matter to our consciousness (bandha) - the terinination of the process that binds karmic matter to our
life (samvara) - the separation of karmic matter from our consciousness (nir
jara) and - freedom from all influences that limit our innate qualities and
abilities (inoksa) are reality.(4)
At first sight some of the components listed may look quite unfamiliar. Yet this description covers not only our familiar Western concept of reality that assigns matter a central role, but also includes all mechanisms that make us really experience life.
