________________ 120 HERMANN KUHN SUTRAS SUTRA 28 AGG-GHT HA:quereu ll 26 | Tadananta bhage manahparyayasya (28) Direct mental perception (manah-paryaya) perceives far subtler forms than extrasensory perception (avadhi). (28) Even the highest form of extrasensory perception (clairvoyance, telepathy etc.) does not reach into the subtle areas direct perception of the consciousness of others can access. Yet the deepest direct mental perception does not perceive the entire multitude of all possible manifestations. The stage of development where direct mental perception activates is not stable enough for experiencing omniscience. SUTRA 29 सर्वद्रव्यपर्यायेषु केवलस्य ॥ २९ ॥ Sarva dravya paryayesu kevalasya (29) Omniscience (kevala jnana) perceives all elements and all their manifestations simultaneously. (29) Omniscience perceives all elements and all their features and manifestations in the present, past and future simultaneously. Omniscience arises automatically when our consciousness is not restricted by deluding karma any more. Though we may still have other karmic bonds, they cease to effect the vastness of our consciousness. Once we reached omniscience, we never lose it again. We experience full omniscience as soon as it arises for the first time. There are no different degrees of omniscience.
