they trigger strong desire or strong rejection within us. Though this is only a small part of all ongoing karmic processes, it nevertheless is the one part we can influence most easily. But the farther we progress in our development, the more we become able of accessing the subtler levels of karma that stand between us and the full unfoldment of our consciousness. Our attachment to karma dissolves 1 - in the natural course of events as soon as the conditions for an ac
tivation occur, or at the end of the maximum period for which a particular type of karma can be bound to us. In this natural sequence of events a long time may pass between the original
binding of karma and its final dissolution. 2 - when we force its activation - i.e., when we intentionally create the
conditions that stimulate a karmic activation. This mechanism can reduce our amount of karma (i.e. the amount of our unresolved themes of life) considerably faster than waiting for its natural activation.
This is e.g. the intentional confrontation with someone whose power we fear, carrying out endeavors that demand courage and additional energy from us, bringing about situations in which we feel more alive, whose outcome is uncertain
or that opens up a new range of experience etc. - Freedom from all influences that limit our innate qualities and abilities (inoksa) opens, access to the entire breadth of our consciousness. Once we achieve this, we experience a state of realization that possesses such breathtaking depth and broadness - in love, knowledge, power, abilities and the experience of happiness - the Western culture has no concept to match.
We reach this goal through a self-determined, individual path on which we actively dissolve our entanglement in all elements that impede the unrestricted use of our consciousness. Once the last of these blocks is removed, we automatically experience the entire magnitude of our consciousness.
