The development of personality means the realization of unlimited knowledge, unlimited happiness and unlimited power within one's own self. According to Vedanta, it is the state of dissolution in (ftaqla) i.e. the merger of individual self into the universal self. According to Jainism, it is the full manifestation of four infinities constituting the soul. According to the Dualistic systems emphasising on one or the orther aspect, it is the state of pure consciousness, companionship with God in the form of power, knowledge, love or a meeting of the separated child with the affectionate mother.
