JAIN SOCIETY OF GREATER CLEVELAND will celebrate 'Nirvan Day' of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar on November 24, 1985, at India Community Center. The celebration will include a variety of programs like pooja, devotional songs, talk by prominent speakers, performance by children and pot luck dinner.
JAIN COMMUNITY OF TOLEDO, OHIO, holds regularly monthly Jain Family Prayer Meeting on a Sunday in one of the host member's residence. The program consists of prayer, Jain story narration for children, stavns, arti and discussion of a chosen topic on religion. Further information could be obtained from Mr. S. N. FEDERATION OF JAIN ASSOCIATIONS IN NORTH AMERICA has plans to hold Regional Jain Family Camp in summer, '86. The Federation likes to solicit any suggestions and ideas in this regard. DETROIT JAIN SOCIETY will celebrate Mahavir Nirvan Day on Nov. 9, 1985. Snatra Pooja will be performed on the same day. A General Body Meeting will be called the same day to hold elections for 1986. Entertainment will be followed by dinner.
