________________ ACHARYA SUSHIL KUMAR ADDRESSED ROTARIANS IN BLAIRSTOWN The Rotary Club of Blairstown, in New Jersey, invited Acharya Sushil Kumar as a guest speaker on August 29th. Acharya delivered a lucid lecture on Jainism and Non-Violence. Shri Anand Swami and devotee, Mr. Shantilal Shah of Toronto, had accompanied the Acharya. Mr. Magan Shah of Toronto, a rotarian, was instrumental in arranging this function. Jain Center of Northern California held a camp on August 10th, at 3676 Delaware Avenue, Freemont. Acharya Sushil Kumar inaugurated the camp. nati. 24 JAIN CHILDREN CAMP The morning session at 9:30 lasted till noon. The lunch and picnic at Lake Elizabeth up to 2:00 p.m. provided freshness for the second session between 2:00-3:00. It was an exciting experience for the children at the camp with Acharya. A discourse was held by Muniji at 3:00 and was followed by question and answer session. Mr. Navin Dedhia and Mr. Jitu Shah were successful in arranging rides for the children. ITINERARIES OF DR. BHARILL Dr. Hukumchand Bharill, noted Jain scholar from India, had a very successful mission in North America. His visit was to bring home the message of Jain religion with contemporary commentaries. The theme of his lectures were Jain Dharma and modern science, and culture and society.
