KSHAMAVANI GREETINGS FOR PARYUSHAN TIMES
New Delhi, July 1st. Indian Post and Telegraph has introduced 'Kshamavani Greetings for Paryushan Parva' telegram to facilitate the exchange of greetings between people across India. This facility was long overdue. Indian Post and Telegraph made this facility available on July 1, 1985. The code number, to use the greeting, is 28.
Sowing of hay seed will not reap rice. Likewise, gift or glory will not be reaped without good karmic duties.

JAIN SHRINES RESTORATION IN KARNATAK
Bangalore, Karnatak, August 20th. The Provincial Jain Shrines Restoration Committee of Karnatak has done a splendid job of restoring 20 temples in the state at a cost of Rs. 200,000. All the architectural, engineering and consultation works were carried at no cost to the committee by various professional individuals from within the community. "The India Jain Shrines Restoration Organization has alloted another Rs. 200,000 for the coming year and 20 more temples have been targeted for restoration during this calendar year", Mr. M. C. Anantarajiah, the President of the Provincial Committee, made this statement to a group of journalists.
