Apa-tattva. Vāstumaņdana. Mandana's treatise on architecture bears the titles
"Šilpa-śāstra’, Västu-śāstra', and also ‘Prāsāda-mandanaVastu-sāstra'.According to some scholars, it is possibly further called the 'Rajavallabha-maņdana' (or simply "Rājavallabha') or the "Sūtradhāra-maņdana'".
In the unique libraryle of the Sarvavidyānidhāna Kavindrācārya (17th C.) were stored some Mss. on art (architecture and sculpture), among which the following are worth noting-- freqTIEITT—2146 279984, 2849 ATEJASH, 2150 qrargh"577, 2151 AUTH, 2152 799 FTCT, 2153 alegriarca. This booklover Kavindrācārya was a Deccan Brahmin and a very learned man, the head of the Pandit community of Benares, of his time,
