Nos. 63-70, which later on assumed the status of an independent book F737769कौमुदीकथा, are also associated with gatha No.773 of the भग. आराधना (see Intro p.75). 44d Either भीतताम् or भीतिकाम् ? 55 इमं = इदम् ? श्रीचन्द्र quotes some Prakrit verses in this section which have a close resemblance with the श्लोकs of हरिषेण. श्रीचन्द्र adds (p. 84a) with उक्तं च 'जस्स य पिदा गलयं वलेदि मादा विसं देदि। राया जत्थ विलुपदि के सरणं तेण गंतव्वं ॥ ef. with this No. 76. Compare his other quotations 'जेण बीया परोहति जेण सिच्चति पादवा । तस्स मज्झे मरिस्सामि जादं सरणदो भयं ॥' and 'आरामरक्खया मक्कडा सुरारक्खया सोंडा। अयरक्खया वया मूलविणटुं तु तं कजं ॥' with Nos. 125, 127-8. The उत्तराध्ययननियुक्ति contains some such verses (p. 3, Poona Ms. No. 1094 of 1887-91, B.O. R.
