શ્વેતાંબરાને કટિસૂત્ર તથા કથ્લેટની લેપમાં આકૃતિ કાઢવાના અધિકાર છે. કટિસૂત્ર ( કંઢારા )ની પહેાળાઇ ૧ ઇંચ જેટલી રાખવી. અને કમરની એક ખાજુથી બીજી ખાજુ સુધી જ્યાંસુધી પહોંચે ત્યાંસુધી કમરને ફરતી કટિસૂત્રની આકૃતિ કાઢવી. કિટસૂત્રની જાડાઈ મૈં એકતૃત્તીયાંશ ઇંચ જેટલી અધ ગાળ આકારે કાઢવી,

કચ્છાટની જાડાઈ ? એક અષ્ટમાંશ ઇંચ જેટલી રાખવી. અને પહેાળાઇ ઉપરના (પ્રાર’ ભના) ભાગે ૨, ઇંચ જેટલી અને નીચેના ( છેડાના ) ભાગ આગળ રા, ઇંચ જેટલી રાખવી. મૂર્તિનો લેપ ચાલતા હોય ત્યારે અને સુકાઈ નય ત્યાંસુધી પૂજા-પ્રક્ષાલ ઉપર શ્વેતાંબરો પ્રતિબ`ધ મૂકે તે સામે દિગંબરેએ વાંધા ઉઠાવવા નહીં. અને શ્વેતાંબરાને જ્યારે લેપ કરવા ઢાય ત્યારે લેપ કરી શકે છે, એ સામે દ્વિગ ખાને વાંધા ઉડાવવાના અધિકાર નથી. ’’
આ પ્રમાણે હુકમ (Order ) મળવાથી શ્વેતાંબરાએ તરત જ લેપ કરવાની તૈયારી કરી દીધી અને જાહેર ખખર પણ આપી દીધી. તેટલામાં દિગબરાએ આકાલાના ચૂકાદા સામે ફરી પાછી નાગપુર હાઇકા માં સન ૧૯૪૪ માં અપીલ કરી. હાઇકોર્ટના યુરોપિયન જજ R. E પાલાકે ૮-૭-૧૯૪૭ ના રાજ નિકાલ ( Order ) આપ્યા અને તેમાં

The learned Additional Distriot Judge has held that the original dimensions for the Katisutra were 1 inch broad and 1/3 inch thick in a semicircular form and that those of the kachota were a breadth ranging from 2 inches at the top to 2 inches at the bottom and a thickness of inch. Counsel has taken me through the evidence which has been discussed at length by the learned Additional District Judge, and I see no reason to differ from the view that he has taken. There is ample evidence to support that view, and the evidence of the Swetambaris is corroborated by one of the Digambari witnesses, namely, Nemaji (A. W. 6) who says that the kardora was of the diameter of a pice coin. I agree with the learned Additional District Judge's conclusions, and there is nothing I can usefully add to what he has to say.
