असौ महात्मा पितृसम्मतं ये प्राब्राजयद् योग्यतया विदित्वा । एकोनविंशान्दवयःप्रपन्न 'धर्मा'दिनाम्ना 'विजया'ऽन्वितेन ।
મહાત્મા વૃદ્ધિચન્દ્રજીએ જેને મેગ્ય સમજ વડીલની સમ્મતિપૂર્વક દીક્ષા આપી; ઓગણેશ વર્ષની ઉમ્મરના જે યુવકે ચારિત્રને ગ્રહણ કરી નવ્ય નામ 'धभविश्य' धा२९५ यु;
Who, being considered fit (for initiation ), was, at the age of nineteen, initiated into the order of monks with the consent of his father, by the high-souled monk, and who received the monastic name of Dharmavijaya;
