गृहस्थवर्गेषु सुयोग्यविद्वदुत्पादनार्थं हृदये यदीये । समुत्कटो जागरितोऽभिलाष: समाजमभ्युनतिमानिनीषौ ।
સમાજને ઉન્નત બનાવવાની ભાવના સેવતા જેમના હૃદયમાં, સામાન્ય જનસમૂહમાં (વૈશ્ય-વર્ગમાં) સુયોગ્ય વિદ્વાને ઉત્પન્ન કરવાની ઉત્કટ આકાંક્ષા જાગી;
In whose mind bent upon leading the society to elevation, there arose an ardent desire to produce able learned men from among the house-holders (common people );
