बंगांग काशी मगधादिभूमी - . मटन्नहिंसामुपदिश्य सम्यक् । अहिंसधर्मे समतिष्ठिपद् यः परःशतान् क्रूर - पलादलोकान् ॥
જેમણે ખગ, અંગ, કાશી અને મગધ વગેરે ભૂપ્રદેશમાં ભ્રમણ કરી, અહિંસાના ઉપદેશ કરી સેકડા ક્રૂર અને માંસાહારી માણસાને અહિંસા-ધમ પમાડ્યો છે;
Who, while travelling in the countries of Kashi, Magadha, Anga and Banga, preached Ahinsa ( non-injury ) and caused. hundreds of cruel and flesh-eating men to follow the path of Ahinsā;
