The Mîmānsā system of the Vedic tradition argues that ‘Na himsyāt sarvabhūtāni' is a general theory while "Vaidiki hissã himsā na bhavati" is an exception. Since, exception is considered as more powerful than the general rule or theory, Vaidikī himsā himsă na bhavati" should be accepted as a religious theory and it must be followed. But the Sāṁkhya system of Vedic tradition has refuted this theory. According to Sāmkhys Vedic yajña does not make the sacrificer (yajñakartā) worthy to be liberated, because it is not fully pure and religious.
Moreover, if “Na himisyāt sarvabhūtāni' is a general rule, its exception may be known as some particular being is to be killed. 'Vaidiki himsä hissä na bhavati' cannot occupy the place of its exception.
In this way the Jaina thinkers as well as the Sāṁkhya thinkers conclude that if killing of an animal is known as religious activity, what will be put in the class of irreligious actions? If by killing animal and sprinkling blood on earth one can go to heaven, what can be the way for going to hell.is Kurabāni
Kurabānī is a famous religious activity in Islam. Kurbānī means offering of one's own dearest thing to Khudā or Alláha . The story of Kurbāni runs like this -

Imbrāhima brought his camel, which was dear to him. to offer that to Allāha. But Khudā asked-whether the camel was the most dear thing to him? Next time Imbrāhima brought his sheep in order to offer that to Khudā. Again Khudā asked, whether the sheep was the most beloved thing to him? Then Imbrāhima made up his mind to offer his son to Khudā because he was his dearest issue. With this intention he brought his son to a hill where he disclosed the secret to his son that he had brought him there to sacrifice him to Khudā. After hearing the proposal and purpose of his father the son became very much happy. He advised his father to bind his hands and legs by a rope so that he could not run away in the love of his life and he also requested his father to fasten his own eyes by some cloth so that he (father) could not
