________________ 646 श्रीमद् विजयराजेन्द्रसूरि - स्मारक - प्रथ the Hanuman-nātaka.111 Mayūra (not enumerated in the last paragraph) is mentioned by Jinapal.11 112 Vinayachandra mentions Bhoja as a great writer. It is not unlikely that many of his poetic works also may have reached Rajasthan, though the only one found at Jaisalmer is a Katha, the .113 Jaisalmer catalogue lists also aga and विरहिणीप्रलापम्, the works of an otherwise unknown poet named कलि. 114 Other poems known to us from Jaisalmer are Bilhana's fanıgèqafen; वृन्दावनयमक; मेघाभ्युदय of मानाङ्क राक्षसकाव्य घटखर्परकाव्य; and चक्रपाणिविजय of Lakshmidhara. 114A Bāņa is the celebrated author of the Harṣacharita and Kadambari. Jinapati Sūris rival, Pradyumnacharya, studied the Kadambari.115 Even his other rival, the much-ridiculed Padma Prabha, knew of Kadambari and accused Jinapati Sūri of plagiarizing from it.116 Quotations from both Kadambari and Harṣacharita abound in Jain books on rhetorics. Subandhu was the author of ara a prose romance similar to Kadambari. A palm leaf Ms. of V. 1207 is in the Jain Bhandars of Jaisalmer.117 The of Bhoja, listed above, is also a romance. The of Rudra, mentioned by Dhanapala may have been in prose. लीलावती कथा of कौतूहल ( ? ) son of भूषणभट्ट, and grandson of Baha laditya) is in Prakrit verse,1 117 A and according to Sri Lalchandra Bhagwandas Gandhi, can Lie with Kadambari in poetic beauty.11 117B It is obvious from its palm leaf Ms. of V. 1265 that it was written in the twelfth century or even earlier. The Ganadharasardhasatakabrhadvrtti mentions elightyfour dramas as studied by Jinavallabha,118 This would mean that he had studied 111. Should be treated only as a guess. 112. खरतरगच्छपट्टावली ( unpublished ). 113. Catalogue of Mss. in the Jaisalmer Bhandars, p. 35. 114. Ibid, p. 29, I am doubtful about the ascription to f. 114A. Introduction to the above, pp. 56-9. 115. खरतरगच्छ पट्टावली of जिनपाल ( unpublished ) 117. जैन पुस्तक प्रशस्तिसंग्रह, I ( सिंधी जैन ग्रन्थमाला ), 117a. Catalogue of Mss. in Jaisalmer Bhandars, pp. 28-29. From the 23rd . 116. Ibid. verse, it is obvious that the name of the author was 117b. Introduction to the above, p. 55. 118.
