I read the other day in Prof. Poussin's history that I am the only scholar who believes in the authenticity of the tale about the Saka era contained in the text. But I dare say that I am not quite alone. At all events I think the text is very important. You will be sorry to learn that Mrs. Konow left me about two months ago. It was a long and hard suffering, but sbe bore the pains bravely, and her strength could never have returned.
