1892, p. 83, says...... “Having procured the Deccan college manuscript of the Vikrama Prabandha....... it is in sanskrit verse.......it is identical wich Weber's
Pancadand..." This Mss. may still be at the Deccan college.
I am sure that all these manuscripts contain the same text as one which you have loaned us, with the possible exception of items "C" and "d"? under "2" above. Our Ms. begins as follows:
praṇamya jagadānandadāyakān jinanāyakāp, [ganesin, gāutamādyāns ca, guļūn samsāratārakān, (sajjanās sobhanācāsān sastrasodhanakārakān, (panchadandātapatrasya kathāṁ vaksye samāsatah. ( tathā hi mājave de'se 'vantyāj sri vikramo nļpah, (rājyam karotis attvā. tma karasāksi 'va bhūtale. ekdā vikramo rājā pātikā. yai catuh pathe gacchan sgānthikaväțasya madhye sāudhopari sthitam (kamcin narim sasụngãram arộod.
iti jalpatim:
