According to IV 16 328 and 329 Sukasarika is composed in a mixture of two languages, viz., the Karņāța language and the Lāta language. It can be in prose or verse. It is in the form of questions and replies. It makes use of two Tālas. This is illustrated by 330. The text of the illustration given according to MS. A. is as follows. पले लालीनीते टुतहोल्लि वृत्त हि दहे निदेनागेहे लानिल्लु हर पोतुं न जाणइ माएतोदीनासा । छांडु छांडु मथिजा इत्व वा गोपिदसृकुखेलण एने देहम् नीनीतेदातरिए गोविंदे हे एत गातत तोरांतोहम्हिणि । काहांह्यणसि वाउलिपनायणु जगहकेरु गोसावि । The text given according to MS. D. is as follows : पले लालीनीते टुतहोल्लिवुत होदेहे निदेन गेलानिलु हं] न जाणउ माएतोरीना स । छांडु छांडु मइ र्जाइ वो गोविंद सहखेलण । एनेदेहो ।। निनेदात्तरिए गोविन्दने देहे एतगातनंतोशोतोमणि कहामणि कहाम्हसि वाउलिपि नारायणु जगहकेरा गोसावी ।। Only a few phrases and lines of "Lāți' in this passage can be tentatively restored. The passage seems to be in the form of a dialogue in prose between the young cowherd girl (Gopi) and her mother. The girl insists on going to play with Krsņa. but the mother tries to dissuade her saying that Kțşņa is not an ordinary
