THE DOCTRINE OF KARMAN 85 belief : aupaśamika, ksāyika-samyaktva. conduct : sāmāyika, chedopasthāpana. causes of bondage : 22, i.e. the 24 of the preceding guna sthāna without āhāraka- and vaikriya-kāya-yoga. bandha : With regard to bandha, there are 7 divisions to be distinguished in this gunasthāna. In the 1st division the 58 prakytis of the apramatta are bound. In the following five, only 56, because the two light kinds of sleep have no longer bandha.
