longs to the post-Apabhramsa stage.
भुसुक्क : Chaff (भुस + diminutive उक्क) (सं. बुस, प्रा. भुस. IAL. 9293). मेखला : Girdle.
लूई : सं. लूता 'spider ; a cutaneous disease.' IAL. 11093. विरुवा : Ugly (सं. विरूपं, प्रा. विरूव ).
शबर : A man of the śabara tribe ( सं. शबर, प्रा. सबर, सवर a wild, mountainous tribe ).
