said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, g, and sell that thou hast" and give to the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven and come and follow me,
भावार्थ और देखो, एक मानव आया और उनसे कहने लगाअविनाशी जीवन पानेके लिये मैं क्या करूँ ! तव जो कुछ इसाने कहाथा वह उसने कहा । (१) हिसा न करो, (२) व्यभिचार न करो, (३) चोरी न करो, (३) झूठी गवाही न दो, (५) अपने माता-पिता का सन्मान करो, (६) अपने पडोसीको अपने समान समझकर प्यार करो । इसने उसको कहा था कि यदि तुम पूर्ण होना चाहते हो तो जाओ, जो कुछ तुम्हारे पास है उसको बेचडालो, गरीबों को देदो, तुम्हें मुक्ति में भंडार प्राप्त होगा । आओ और मेरे साथ चलो ।

(२) सेन्ट मार्क St. mark ने कहा-

17. What shall I do that I may inherit eternal life. 18. and Jesus said unto hin, why callest thou me good, there is none good but one God. 19. Thou knowest the commandments. Dont commit adaltory, dont kill, dont steal

भावार्थ - अविनाशी जीवनके लिये मैं क्या करू ? तब ईसाने कहा कि तू मुझे क्यो उत्तम कहता है ? परमात्मा के सिवाय कोई श्रेष्ठ नहीं है। तू आज्ञाओं को जानता ही है कि व्यभिचार न करो, हिंसा न करो, चोरी न करो ।
(१) सेन्ट ल्यूक St. Luke ने कहा है-
Ch. 35 - Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness ch. 12-29. And seek not ye what ye shall eat and what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
