Note :-This word is found only in Malayalam out of all the other Dravidian languages. 2 The word mutti' in Tamil is made like the word 'muynir'. This idea of three fires is not found in Skt. As there are only three oceans according to the Tamil literary tradition, the fire also would bave been numbered as three.
