Compounds which are not found in Skt, though they are made of words from Skt. and are found only in Tamil :

intermediate space. This may be the counterpart of the Skt. compound 'vyantara'. 2. uruva-c-cātakam - 1571 rūpa + jātaka
- science of the shape 3. kappakam-kama-valli - 1129 kalpaka + kāma + valli - the creeper Kāmavalli on the tree

kāvya + kavika! - the poets who compose kāvyas 5. kama-malai - 1357
kāma + mala - a garland of desire 6. kita-viti - 2039 gita + vithi
- an avenue of music 7. catu-muka - 766
