4. A Catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit Manuscripts in the
British Museum Vol. II, comp. by J.P. Losty, this catalogue contains the description of 763 Sanskrit and Prakrit mss. Bendall's Catalogue (1902) lists mss. acquired upto 1898. Bendall omitted Jaina mss. acquired before 1898. This vol. contains mss. acquired upto 1871. It includes (1) Jaina mss. acquired in 1879 from Ratnavijayasuri of Ahmedabad. (II) Jaina mss. acquired by H. Jacobi in Rajasthan in 1873-1874 and purchased by the British Museum in 1897. (III) the Nevil collection of mss. from Srilanka, acquired in 1904. Pub. British
